Called & Crafted | October 19-21

Colleagues, Welcome. You made it. And I want you to know—you deserve to be here. It is our deepest honor and joy to welcome you to the Called + Crafted: Preaching and Innovation Conference, a sacred space created with you in mind. This year, we gather around a powerful declaration: We Choose Joy. Not because life is without challenges or ministry is without burdens, but because joy is a gift from God, a source of strength, and something worth choosing again and again. Over the next three days, I encourage you to be fully present. Let yourself be poured into. Say yes to care. Engage in meaningful conversations, worship with abandon, and allow yourself to laugh, cry, exhale, and dream again. Rediscover the joy of your calling and remember who you are beyond the pulpit and the pressure. And exciting news this year... all events will be held in the Health Pavillon (HEAL) except for Tuesday night worship! You give so much of yourself to others—week after week, sermon after sermon, challenge after challenge. But this moment… this one… is for you. Choosing joy doesn’t mean ignoring the weight of the work. It means making room for God’s goodness in the midst of it. You can bring your whole self—your brilliance and your weariness, your questions and your celebrations. We’ve designed every detail with you in mind. My team and I are here to care for you, celebrate you, and remind you that you are not alone. You are seen. You are loved. And you are called—not just to preach the Word, but to live it in fullness, freedom, and joy. So settle in, beloved. Take a deep breath. Let this be your Sabbath moment, and let joy find you here.
